WeChat, Douyin, Xiaohongshu & Weibo advertising for B2B brands

China Social Media Marketing Agency Ads That Bring Qualified Leads

Jademond plans, buys and optimizes paid social campaigns on China's leading social media platforms, then hands every lead to your sales reps. Our Guangzhou-based specialists also keep your WeChat, Xiaohongshu and Zhihu presence active with content built on your input. Reporting in English, measured by cost per qualified lead.

Leads, not likes: how our social media marketing agency works

Many agencies in the Chinese market promise viral reach and brand awareness. We do not sell viral stunts. Our core strength is paid social that turns Chinese consumers and buyers into inquiries: targeting, creative testing, lead forms, landing pages and daily bid optimization, all within one end-to-end China marketing strategy. Organic social media management still matters, because prospects check whether your WeChat Official Account and RedNote profile look alive before they leave their details. So we publish steady, credible content built from your product news, applications and events, adapted for local readers rather than translated. Think of it as a content strategy for trust, not for trending topics.

Platform selection

Which Chinese social media platforms fit your brand?

China has over a billion social media users, but a B2B buyer and a lifestyle consumer live on different apps. We recommend platforms by lead quality, not by user numbers, and help you build and develop a presence only where it pays off. Global brands from Asia and Europe often need fewer platforms than they expect.
💬 WeChat

The business backbone: Official Accounts for nurturing, Channels for video, the WeChat mini program for forms & e-commerce, WeCom for customer messaging. Essential for nearly every B2B brand.

🎵 Douyin

China's largest short video platform, not TikTok: separate app, rules and ad system. Strong lead volume for education, real estate, tools & equipment.

📕 Xiaohongshu

Search-driven product research by affluent urban users; strongest for consumer brands, Chinese consumers in tier-1 cities, cross-border e-commerce & social commerce, growing for professional services.

📢 Weibo

Public news & trending topics with 580+ million users; useful for launches, events and brand awareness, weaker for lead generation in most industries.

🧠 Zhihu

Long-form Q&A where engineers and buyers research suppliers; supports B2B credibility and search visibility.

📺 Bilibili

Younger users, technical explainers; relevant for employer branding and tech products.

B2B lead generation on Chinese social media

LinkedIn shut down its China social network in 2021, so B2B marketing in the China market runs through WeChat and, increasingly, short video. Global brands from Europe, North America and Asia face the same switch. A typical funnel: a targeted ad in WeChat Moments or Channels, a short landing page or WeChat mini program form in Chinese, an instant WeCom message from your local sales rep, then nurturing via your Official Account with application notes, webinars and event invitations. This helps B2B brands grow a pipeline instead of a follower count. Each step is tracked, so you see which specific campaign, creative and keyword produced which qualified lead.

Where B2B leads come from

  • WeChat Moments & Channels ads targeting industry interests
  • Ocean Engine search ads on product & application keywords
  • WeChat articles with webinar sign-up forms
  • Trade fair follow-up campaigns to scanned visitors
  • Retargeting of website & mini program visitors

Why localization decides ad performance

Creative built for the Chinese market, not translated

Ads that work in global markets rarely work in China. Chinese feeds are vertical, faster and denser, and digital marketing rules differ; Chinese consumers and B2B buyers expect specs, prices, certifications and local service details up front. Our native designers and copywriters adapt your material into unique creative for each platform: product videos re-cut for Douyin, carousel ads for WeChat Moments, search-style notes for Xiaohongshu. We test every variant against others, and every claim is checked against China's Advertising Law, which bans absolute terms such as "best" or "number one" and requires proof for performance claims.

Followers are nice. Qualified leads pay salaries. That is what our specialists are measured on.
All paid social specialists, copywriters and designers are native Chinese with digital marketing experience for leading global brands from Europe, North America and Asia. They work in-house in China; we do not outsource your campaigns. That unique mix of local market experience and search strategy is rare among agencies. Early in her Jademond career, Peiwen helped a premium luggage brand pass RMB 5 million in annual sales.

FAQ

China social media marketing: frequently asked questions

Platforms, costs, timelines, setup.
Which Chinese social media platforms do we need?
For most B2B brands, WeChat first, then Douyin; Xiaohongshu for consumer and premium products. Weibo, Zhihu and Bilibili are added only when your buyers are there.
Can a foreign company advertise on WeChat or Douyin without a Chinese entity?
Often, yes. Overseas companies can get advertiser access through authorized agents with notarized registration documents and industry pre-review. Some industries require a Chinese entity or special licenses; we check this before setup.
How much does China social media marketing cost?
Plan at least USD 8,000 to 15,000 per month for one leading platform, including media spend, creative and campaign management. Multi-platform programs with influencer work usually start around USD 30,000.
How soon do social ads generate leads in China?
Verification and setup take three to five weeks, depending on your industry. First leads usually arrive within two weeks of launch; stable cost per qualified lead takes two to three months of testing.
Do you create viral content or run KOL campaigns?
We do not promise virality. We run lead-focused ads and keep your channels active with credible content. KOL or KOC collaborations are added where they support leads, mainly on Xiaohongshu.
Is Douyin the same as TikTok?
No. Both belong to ByteDance, but Douyin is a separate Chinese app with its own users, rules and ad system, Ocean Engine. TikTok is not available in Mainland China.
Can we reuse our global ad creative?
Rarely as is. We help adapt your material to Chinese formats, language and ad rules; translated creative usually performs worse and risks rejection.
How do you measure social media advertising results?
Cost per lead, cost per qualified lead and pipeline value, based on feedback from your sales reps. Views, followers and user engagement are reported, but campaigns are not optimized for them. Our reports help you decide where to grow budget.
Who writes the organic posts?
Our native copywriters, based on your input: product news, applications, events and customer stories. This keeps your content strategy specific, credible and helpful for search engine optimization on Baidu. You approve every post before it goes live.

International brands from Europe, the US and Asia often come to us after paying for followers, views and viral promises that never reached their sales reps. Tell us who your buyers are in the Chinese market, and we will show you which platforms can reach them, what a qualified lead is likely to cost, and how we would develop the first campaigns.
